Job Description

NetApp is a leading company in intelligent data infrastructure, renowned for delivering unified storage, integrated data services, and innovative solutions that empower organizations to fully realize the potential of their data—including AI and multicloud capabilities. As a tech infrastructure leader, NetApp serves a diverse portfolio of clients by enabling their data ecosystems to be more efficient, resilient, and secure. The company is committed to innovation, growth, and fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and ownership among its employees. With a firm dedication to equal opportunity employment and inclusivity, NetApp provides an engaging work environment with a hybrid working model designed to strengthen connections and teamwork.

The Field Excellence Lead role at NetApp is a pivotal position within the sales enablement and readiness functions. This role is responsible for enhancing sales team effectiveness by translating corporate and sales priorities into actionable, scalable programs that can be effectively executed across field teams. Key facets of the Field Excellence Lead position include managing new-hire onboarding initiatives to accelerate time-to-productivity, supporting ongoing sales execution through targeted workshops and field engagement, and delivering field enablement programs that are tailored to regional and organizational needs. The role also involves partnering with leadership to plan and deliver critical sales forums such as Leadership Summits and Sales Kickoffs (SKOs) while fostering adoption and consistency of established sales methodologies like MEDDICC.

This position demands strong program execution skills, the ability to facilitate and influence across matrixed organizational structures, and a pragmatic approach grounded in a field-first mindset. With over 12 years of relevant sales, enablement, and field-facing experience preferred, the Field Excellence Lead will be a trusted execution partner to district and regional sales leaders, driving improvements in onboarding, readiness, and overall sales effectiveness.

The compensation for this role ranges from $170,000 to $253,000 USD, depending on factors such as location, experience, and education, and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, performance-based incentives, employee stock purchase plans, and restricted stock units (RSUs), with variations depending on local regulations and company policies.

NetApp values mold breakers, bold thinkers, and those who take ownership of their work. Employees are encouraged to bring curiosity, creativity, and drive to every moment. The culture celebrates diversity and flexibility, supporting employees in balancing professional ambitions with personal lives. Those who thrive at NetApp are proactive, results-driven, and eager to contribute to the ongoing evolution of data infrastructure technology. If you are prepared to innovate and support a high-performing sales organization, the Field Excellence Lead role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and advance your career in a cutting-edge environment.
