The Accountant Growth Marketing team is currently seeking a Field Event Marketing Coordinator to join their dynamic marketing division. This pivotal role is designed to manage and execute trade shows, field marketing events, and a variety of virtual campaigns that directly contribute to the expansion and engagement of the Accountant Channel's customer base. The role demands a proactive and detail-oriented marketing professional with a strong background in planning and overseeing complex marketing initiatives.

As a Field Event Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of marketing events from initial planning stages through execution and post-event analysis. You will coordinate trade show logistics including contract negotiations, budget oversight, staffing, asset management, and onsite training to ensure each event's success. Additionally, you will spearhead virtual events, webinars, and email campaigns to maximize outreach and lead generation.

This role requires the ability to strategically balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a clear communication stream with senior management and other stakeholders. Success in this role hinges on exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and adaptability, as well as proficiency in key marketing tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, Asana, and Google Suite.

The typical work shift for this position runs from 9 AM to 5 PM PT, and candidates should be available for occasional travel within the U.S. (up to 10%) to attend various events. The role offers an exciting opportunity to influence growth marketing efforts within a respected financial services company, working collaboratively within a team of experienced marketers. This is a full-time, mid-senior level position ideal for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, and seeking a challenging yet rewarding career path in event and growth marketing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in field and trade show events, growth marketing, or customer marketing
  • Experience running field events, trade shows, virtual events, and email campaigns
  • Ability to initiate and drive complex projects to completion across large distributed teams with minimal guidance
  • Exceptional attention to detail, project management experience, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Owner mentality, willing to jump in and help with special projects
  • Proven track record of successful event planning and execution
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for events as needed
  • Experience using Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, Asana, Outreach, and Google Suite

Job Duties

  • Research, recommend, and manage marketing-related ancillary events
  • Own assigned trade shows and ensure all tasks are completed by deadlines
  • Manage end-to-end logistics including contract negotiations, campaign logistics, budgets, staffing, messaging, email marketing, vendor relationships, training onsite team, and shipments
  • Track, measure, and report standard metrics across event marketing efforts
  • Manage a variety of marketing campaigns including regional field events, virtual events, executive events, webinars, email campaigns, and customer promotions
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaign content
  • Communicate event plans, progress, and outcomes to senior management and other key stakeholders
