This position involves providing expert installation, integration, testing, and support for the Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (C-RAM) System of Systems (SoS). The role also includes performing in-theater Counter Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) data collection and analysis, executing system modifications, and analyzing system and sub-system data to enhance C-UAS capabilities. The goal is to ensure seamless integration of C-UAS systems with other command and control networks, supporting operations such as Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) and other U.S. military deployments.

Personnel in this role are primarily based out of the Regional Support Center (RSC) but may also be stationed at forward operating bases (FOBs) to meet operational demands. The position requires frequent travel, including extensive deployments both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS), covering regions like AFRICOM, CENTCOM, and EUCOM. This is a full-time, on-site role demanding flexibility in work hours to accommodate mission needs.

The technician’s responsibilities include repairing C-RAM system equipment following technical manuals and operational procedures, assisting operators in mission preparation and training, conducting on-site hardware and software troubleshooting, and managing maintenance documentation through government-provided systems like the Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS). The technician ensures battle-ready operations with minimal supervision, providing both help desk and field support.

Candidates must be able to perform independently and under operational pressures while coordinating system changes and updates with senior managers. The role demands proficiency with complex systems such as C-RAM C2/FAAD C2, AMDWS, C-RAM Network (C-NET), RAM C2, alerting devices, and wireless communications. Additional responsibilities include supporting installation, integration, and testing of systems, participating in site surveys, and ensuring compliance with military standards.

Ardent Eagle Solutions values individuals with military or equivalent experience who understand the operational environment and technical complexities of C-RAM and related battle command systems. The ideal candidate holds at least four years of experience in mass notification systems, electronic security, fire alarm systems, or telecommunications. Technical skills in WAN/LAN architecture, network protocols, Cisco device configuration, and troubleshooting are essential.
