The Sales and Service Porter is responsible for inspecting vehicles for damage, facilitating vehicle reception and delivery, maintaining showroom and lot cleanliness, and assisting with various dealership operations including showroom setup, event marketing, and logistics. Job Duties

Inspecting each vehicle for damage prior to parking and report any findings to management immediately
Receiving vehicles from transportation company and processing paperwork as needed
Ensuring that each vehicle is inspected prior to delivery to customers
Welcoming and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner
Maintaining vehicles in each showroom
Constantly moving vehicles on the dealership lot
Assisting with showroom setup and photography
Assisting with dealership pick-ups and deliveries for parts or automobiles
Clearing vehicles from service drive and setting up front line vehicle display
Inspecting and parking incoming service vehicles including floor mats, seat covers, and sun shields
Coordinating needed vehicle pickup washes with service manager or advisor
Checking ready status such as fuel and wash of service courtesy vehicles
Confirming cosmetic condition and battery tender status of showroom vehicles
Assisting in marketing events
Washing and drying exterior of vehicles
Cleaning wheels, tires, and inspecting the quality of the vehicle
Cleaning all glass components thoroughly
Inspecting and cleaning engine compartment
Assisting with general dealership maintenance
Maintaining strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
