This part-time federal work-study position offers students the chance to assist the Kitchen Lab technician with various tasks including food ordering, maintaining cleanliness, stocking refrigerators and freezers, and food preparation. The position demands attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow sanitation and safety standards. Students will participate in stocking and inventory, supporting food deliveries, keeping accurate records, and helping execute special events related to the program. Applicants must also be physically capable of standing or walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, as the role requires a hands-on approach to managing kitchen supplies and resources.
The job offers a wage of $15.00 per hour and requires a commitment to varied shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., including one early shift and one late shift weekly.
