The role of Global Head of Sales at FCM Meetings and Events is a critical leadership position that commands the responsibility of steering the company’s global commercial growth. This executive role entails leading multiple geographically dispersed sales teams across the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and Australia, and driving new business acquisition alongside client expansion initiatives. The Global Head of Sales will steer the development and execution of world-class sales strategies aligned with the ambitious 2030 growth plan, including achieving the substantial target of one billion dollars in total transaction value (TTV). This role is instrumental in optimizing portfolio profitability through margin mix prioritization and advancing a consistent and effective global sales methodology, inclusive of CRM discipline and pipeline management.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the meetings and events landscape, including venue finding, managed meetings, strategic meetings management, event management, and group travel. In addition to spearheading targeted acquisition strategies and enterprise client engagements, the Global Head of Sales will champion initiatives that elevate service delivery from transactional interactions to comprehensive program management. Collaboration with marketing, sales enablement, finance, and operations teams is a vital component of this role, ensuring alignment across disciplines to enhance positioning, pipeline generation, pricing, deal structuring, and commercial governance.
Moreover, this leader will serve as an executive sponsor for strategic, high-value commercial pursuits and act as a voice of the customer, feeding critical market insights into organizational strategy. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience leading high-performing sales organisations
- Proven experience leading and scaling global or multi-regional B2B sales teams
- Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership experience across geographically distributed teams
- Experience in meetings and events, corporate travel, or professional services environments
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Familiarity with SPICED, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies
- Strong cross-cultural leadership and adaptability
- Postgraduate qualification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and scaling global or multi-regional B2B sales teams
- Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience in meetings and events, corporate travel, or professional services environments
- Strong knowledge of M&E service lines including venue finding, managed meetings, SMM, event management, and group travel
- Proven ability to sell and position SMM programs to enterprise clients
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- Strong leadership experience across geographically distributed teams
- Track record of aligning sales, marketing, and enablement functions
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Familiarity with SPICED, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies
- Experience operating in global matrix organisations
- Minimum 10+ years leading high-performing sales organisations

Job Duties
- Lead and execute the global sales strategy aligned to M&E 2030 growth ambitions and $1B TTV target
