With a commitment to integrity, innovation, and excellence, the FBI operates at the forefront of law enforcement and intelligence. It draws upon a diverse range of expertise, including data science, cloud infrastructure, and IoT systems, to enhance its operational capabilities and respond effectively to emerging threats. The position is full-time and located "on the road," reflecting the nature of investigative and law enforcement duties that require travel and fieldwork.

Special Agents at the FBI engage in high-stakes investigations and are responsible for leveraging advanced statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data governance techniques to uncover criminal patterns, predict and prevent illegal activities, and support national safety efforts. This role is pivotal in applying technical and analytical skills to drive investigative success. The salary range is competitive, from $99,461 to $128,329 annually, depending on base pay, locality, and availability pay packages. The FBI offers a thorough onboarding process requiring applicants to submit specific documentation, including resumes and educational transcripts, and clearances to ensure candidates meet stringent security requirements.

Joining the FBI as a Special Agent means committing to a career that challenges you intellectually and physically while offering the satisfaction of public service. The Bureau supports its agents with a comprehensive benefits package and a commitment to ongoing professional development. This environment encourages agents to grow their expertise, maintain physical fitness standards, and build connections across a wide network of federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement bodies. If you have a master's degree or higher and meet the stringent requirements, you can embark on a transformative career path dedicated to making tangible contributions to the nation's security. The FBI seeks individuals ready to perform with resourcefulness and judgment in varied and evolving investigative contexts. Apply today and become part of the mission to protect the United States using your unique data and technical skills.
