Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
- ability to provide and maintain a valid drivers license
- able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- ability to work in extreme temperatures like freezers and kitchens
- able to sit at a desk up to four hours per day
- able to stand and walk for extended periods
- able to lift up to 45 lbs
- able to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs

Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- bachelor degree preferred
- 3-5 years food and beverage operation experience
- 1-2 years management experience
- culinary, sales and service background
- good communication skills verbal, written and electronic
- excellent leadership and customer relations skills
- detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
- intermediate computer skills
- basic computational skills
- knowledge of computer programs, math and budgetary analysis
- ability to analyze and judge user needs
- ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
- knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS
- self-driven and able to work independently
- exceptionally strong in issue resolution and analytical skills
- thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing employment and labor relations
- thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes and proper preparation
- ability to distinguish product quality, taste, texture and presentation
- ability to conduct meetings and maintain communication between staff and managers.
Job Duties
- Plan and direct the functions of the food and beverage outlets to meet daily operation needs
- support and manage the hotel food and beverage outlets while working closely with hotel manager and other department managers
- responsible for short and long term planning of all outlets including restaurant, bar, and in-room dining
- maintain consistent communication with vendors and suppliers for timely rollout of seasonal food options
- direct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories and prepare and submit inventory reports
- develop and implement creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment
- develop the department budget, marketing plans and objectives, manage within approved plans
- implement schedules for operation of restaurants, bars and in-room dining teams to achieve profitable results
- collaborate with culinary team in menu creation
- consult with sales manager and banquets team
- manage payroll and time and attendance for the food and beverage staff
- implement effective control of food, beverage and labor costs
- establish and achieve profit objectives and desired standards of food, service, cleanliness, merchandising and promotion
- conduct orders of food and beverage supplies
- stay up to date on brand requirements and restaurant changes
- maintain quality and consistency of food product and delivery
- ensure attendance at all mandatory meetings
- lead and coach team toward guest service and staff satisfaction
- maintain high energy, positive attitude and professional appearance
- regularly review and evaluate customer acceptance and recommend new operating and marketing policies
- continuously evaluate staff performance and encourage improvement
- arrange and supervise training of new staff including familiarization with property, SOPs and policies
- cross-train staff and ensure retraining as needed
- serve as a role model adhering to policies and demonstrating highest standards in conduct, punctuality and work ethics
- assist with guest inquiries
