The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at Hardee's holds a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant while supporting the broader Brand Vision, Mission, and Promise. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with company standards in all operational areas, including product quality, customer service, financial management, and safety protocols. The RGM is instrumental in fostering a customer-focused culture and driving the successful execution of business goals. By actively selecting, nurturing, and coaching top talent, the RGM builds a high-performing team that excels in customer engagement, sales growth, and profitability.

In addition to leadership responsibilities, the RGM ensures strict adherence to food safety standards through direct oversight and continuous training programs such as Servsafe and TAPS certification. The position also entails hands-on involvement in day-to-day activities, overseeing the entire dining experience from food preparation to facility cleanliness and stock management. The RGM collaborates closely with Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring a positive and disciplined workplace environment.

Furthermore, the RGM plays a strategic role in marketing and financial management by partnering with the District Manager to implement local store marketing plans and continuously analyzing sales, labor, inventory, and other controllable expenses. The RGM regularly reviews the business performance with the management team to identify growth opportunities and address any performance gaps, sharing best practices across the district.

This position demands flexibility in work schedules, including working days, nights, weekends, and traveling between locations to support various business needs. Job Requirements

high school diploma/general educational development (ged) required
minimum of three years’ experience in restaurant operation
proficient working knowledge of microsoft office applications
must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
must maintain reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance to travel between company locations and transport product and supplies

Job Duties
