Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • availability to work flexible, part-time hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
  • familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering
  • strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and handle inquiries professionally
  • ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing
  • knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper kitchen practices
  • experience in food industry roles such as serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items efficiently and according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
  • operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions
  • provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to maximize sales
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
  • assist with food delivery to tables or drive-thru windows, ensuring timely service during busy hours
  • handle cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
  • support team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure a smooth operation
