Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform medium physical work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- good vision including depth perception and color vision
- capable of physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- exposure to temperature extremes, dampness, cleaning chemicals and solvents
- ability to operate equipment like telephone, fax, copier, pallet jacks, garbage disposal, trash compactor, box cutter, knives, computer, calculator, frozen juice machine, coffee maker, cash register, RPM, gas pumps
- report to work on schedule
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications

- ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- basic arithmetic skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages
- ability to file, post and mail materials

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- assist customers by escorting to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions
- answer telephone promptly and provide helpful service
- work with co-workers as a team
- operate cash register accurately and scan products
- redeem promotional coupons, food stamps, process payments and issue receipts
- place merchandise in bags, give packages to customers
- assist with inventory
- receive and check delivered merchandise and stock shelves
- maintain proper lot maintenance including snow shoveling and ice melting
- fill outside towel holders and replenish window washer fluid
- remove trash inside and outside timely
- check in product and review invoices
- practice proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area
- clean registers, restrooms, break room, backroom, sweep and mop floors
- maintain personal hygiene and dress adherence
- follow company policies and store guidelines
- report to work on time and as scheduled
