Job Requirements

- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, 10 pounds constantly
- visual acuity with or without correction

- ability to work in temperature extremes and dampness

- ability to safely handle equipment and cleaning chemicals

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach items, loading or unloading heavy goods, noting customer suggestions, performing other tasks to enhance shopping experience
- answers telephone and provides helpful service
- works with co-workers as a team
- operates cash register accurately and scans product
- redeems coupons, food stamps, processes transactions, counts change and issues receipts
- places merchandise in bags and hands to customers
- assists with inventory
- receives and stocks merchandise
- ensures maintenance of lot and replenishes supplies
- removes trash inside and outside
- checks in product and reviews invoices
- practices proper sanitation and maintains clean work area
- cleans registers, restrooms, break room, backroom, floors
- adheres to hygiene and dress guidelines
- reports to work on time
