The company specializes in creating highly curated environments that blend luxury, nature, and community, offering members and their families unparalleled opportunities to learn, grow, and enjoy life in some of the world’s most breathtaking locations. With a commitment to innovation and a deep respect for the environment, Discovery Land Company attracts professionals who are passionate about delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for members and guests.

Atlantic Fields, one of Discovery Land Company’s signature locations, is nestled in the heart of Hobe Sound, Florida. This 1,500-acre community beautifully combines the timeless charm of "Old Florida" with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Atlantic Fields is home to a championship Tom Fazio golf course, oceanic adventures, equestrian facilities, on-site dining options, and wellness offerings. The property embraces its rich historic heritage while providing members with the convenience and excitement that South Florida is renowned for. Employees at Atlantic Fields are valued for their personal talents and their ability to integrate diverse cultural experiences, ensuring members receive superior service and friendly, memorable interactions.

The Farm Assistant role at Atlantic Fields is an exciting opportunity within the Club Operations Department. Reporting directly to the Farm Manager, this position is crucial in managing the daily operations of a 10-acre farm that supports production, aesthetics, and member engagement. The role demands a blend of physical, hands-on farming duties alongside administrative tasks and interpersonal communication. The Farm Assistant will handle the cultivation and care of plants, vegetables, fruits, flowers, and farm animals such as bees, chickens, and ruminants, ensuring their health and productivity. The position also involves greenhouse management, propagation, transplanting, harvesting, washing, and packing produce. Maintaining cleanliness, equipment operation, and safety protocols are also key responsibilities.

In addition to farming tasks, the Farm Assistant plays an integral role in enhancing the member experience by facilitating farm tours, educational events, outdoor dining experiences, and other activities designed to foster awareness and enjoyment of sustainable farming practices. Collaboration with culinary and wellness teams ensures a seamless integration of farm products and programming. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills as daily interactions with members, guests, and staff are critical to delivering an "above and beyond" service standard.

Candidates should be prepared for a physical work environment with variable weather conditions and the need to lift and carry items often exceeding 50 pounds. Flexibility in schedule is required, including the possibility of evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. This position offers employees the chance to work in a dynamic, supportive setting where professional development, career growth, and a healthy work-family culture are emphasized. The Farm Assistant will contribute directly to maintaining Atlantic Fields as a premier destination for excellence in both agriculture and community engagement, supporting Discovery Land Company’s mission of creating unique and enriching environments for its members.
