Operating prominently within the Oakland International Airport and other significant markets like San Francisco, the company emphasizes innovation, career development, and a commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.

The role being offered is a Utility position at Oakland International Airport, compensated at a competitive rate of $21.61 per hour. This full-time opportunity invites candidates who are dedicated to cleanliness, organization, and outstanding guest service in a bustling airport environment. The Utility team plays a pivotal function in maintaining kitchen hygiene standards by managing the washing and cleaning of all tableware, cookware, floors, walls, ceilings, and coolers. The position demands flexibility, as it involves working various days of the week, including weekends and holidays, with shifts ranging from early morning to late evening. The Utility responsibilities further include assisting with dish machine operations, inventory rotation following "First in First out principles," trash management, linen handling, and general upkeep of common traveler spaces.

Candidates will be valued for their strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task effectively, and a compassionate team spirit vital in a fast-paced airport setting. Prior experience in food preparation and handling cleaning supplies correctly is an asset. Physical endurance is required, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. The company also prioritizes career growth, offering training programs, tuition reimbursement, and an employee assistance program to support their diverse workforce.

Working with Avolta is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values opportunity, growth, meaningful rewards, and inclusion. Benefits accompanying the position range from health, dental, and vision insurance to generous paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan. Life insurance paid by the company, tuition reimbursement, career advancement possibilities, and an employee referral program highlighting teamwork and community engagement underscore Avolta’s commitment to its employees. The company maintains a strict equal employment opportunity policy, ensuring a discrimination-free work environment for all team members regardless of race, gender, or other protected characteristics.

This Utility role at Oakland International Airport offers an engaging work environment where candidates can contribute to a seamless traveler experience, develop their skill set, and enjoy a supportive workplace culture.
