This role is an integral part of Azul Hospitality's Food & Beverage (F&B) operations, responsible for supervising and organizing the F&B functions within the hotel's outlets. The successful candidate will ensure that food and beverage services not only meet but exceed quality and service standards while maximizing profitability. This role involves close collaboration with other F&B leadership team members and maintaining effective communication with vendors and suppliers to roll out seasonal menu options on time. Additionally, the candidate will monitor service quality and product standards, contribute to menu planning and supply ordering, and ensure compliance with brand requirements and hotel policies.

The position demands a dynamic leader who will coach and motivate team members to achieve high guest satisfaction and staff morale. They will maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The role includes overseeing inventory processes, training new and existing staff across various positions, and ensuring adherence to safety and health standards. This individual will also be expected to handle customer feedback constructively and develop new operating and marketing policies to respond effectively to changes in customer preferences or market conditions.

Physical demands of the role include the ability to operate in environments ranging from moderate indoor temperatures to extreme kitchen and freezer temperatures, perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment, and maintain mobility and dexterity throughout busy operating periods. Essential skills include strong communication, leadership, organizational, and analytical capabilities, proficiency in computer applications related to hospitality operations, familiarity with POS and PMS systems, and the ability to manage complex workplace dynamics.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor position requires a minimum of a high school diploma with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree. Candidates must bring 3-5 years of experience in F&B operations, hold necessary certifications including Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handler certifications, and be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in food and beverage operations
  • ability to work in a range of temperatures from -10 to +110 degrees Fahrenheit
  • physical ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours at a time
  • ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull equipment up to 250 lbs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Support and supervise the hotel food and beverage outlets while collaborating with the F&B leadership team
  • maintain communication with vendors and suppliers for timely rollout of seasonal food options
  • participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories and submit reports to accounting
  • monitor quality of service and product
  • cooperate in menu planning and preparation
