Such advantages ensure employees feel valued and motivated.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor role at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis plays a pivotal part in elevating the guest and colleague experience in the hotel's Prairie Kitchen and Bar, which is a three-meal restaurant and bar, as well as MPLS Market, a grab-and-go coffee and sundries outlet. This supervisory role involves leading a team by providing coaching, training, giving clear direction, and supporting management functions as necessary. The supervisor is instrumental in driving the overall performance of these outlets, ensuring that guest experiences are memorable and of high quality.

This position requires proactive engagement in the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets. Key responsibilities include conducting team pre-shift meetings to prepare staff for service, overseeing guest interactions by addressing complaints and special requests promptly, maintaining quality and accuracy of the products served, and ensuring timely service. The supervisor is also responsible for administrative tasks such as managing closing procedures, submitting requisition orders, and confirming that side work is completed efficiently.

Upholding health, safety, and compliance standards is paramount in this role, ensuring the restaurant and market meet all regulatory requirements and deliver a safe environment for guests and team members. The role demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. It also requires flexibility for evening and weekend shifts to accommodate operational needs.
