The Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor role at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is a pivotal position that provides essential support to the Food and Beverage Manager. This supervisory role oversees assigned F&B outlets to ensure they operate at peak efficiency, delivering exceptional guest service while maximizing profitability. The F&B Supervisor is responsible for training and motivating staff to meet and exceed company standards, contributing directly to the success of the food and beverage department. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including managing daily operations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, resolving guest concerns, and cooperating with other department heads to ensure smooth interdepartmental communication and operations.

This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on guest satisfaction, and the ability to monitor and optimize operational performance. The F&B Supervisor must be physically able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during shifts to maintain effective oversight. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in food and beverage, with skills in training, coaching, and motivating team members. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations is essential to maintain the highest standards in all outlets. The role also involves strict adherence to Rosen's policies on drug, tobacco, and nicotine abstinence within the workplace.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of previous F&B experience
  • Strong guest service and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience training, coaching, and motivating team members
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs infrequently
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA

Job Duties

  • Provide assistance to the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations of assigned F&B outlets
  • Ensure exceptional guest service in all F&B areas, addressing and resolving guest concerns as needed
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and profitability of F&B functions, implementing strategies to achieve targets
  • Train and motivate staff, setting performance goals based on Company Standards and providing regular feedback
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to enforce the company's drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies
  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during the shift to supervise operations effectively
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the F&B outlets, adhering to safety protocols
  • Communicate and coordinate with other department heads to ensure seamless interdepartmental operations
  • Assist in handling guest complaints and intercede when necessary to resolve issues professionally
  • Uphold the company's drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies within the workplace
  • All other duties as assigned
