Role Description: We are actively seeking a highly motivated and analytical Food and Beverage Supervisor who demonstrates proactive problem-solving abilities and leadership by example. This role involves supporting the achievement of financial and quality goals within the Food and Beverage department and ensuring the smooth operation of all its facets. The supervisor is responsible for enhancing existing models to improve service and operational efficiencies while maintaining alignment with Benchmark brand standards and company values.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating between departments, managing inventory and costs, and fostering an environment that encourages employee engagement and loyalty. This position also involves participation in hiring and training programs, as well as supporting multiple Food and Beverage outlets. The successful candidate will be adept at working in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment, with strong customer service skills, the ability to make quick decisions under pressure, and a pleasant, positive demeanor. Previous experience in luxury hotel restaurants and proficiency with Micros systems will be highly valued. - Attend weekly meetings relaying information about upcoming events to staff under supervision
- supply information about the capabilities and programs to other departments and clients or potential clients
- respond to needs and requests of guests and potential guests
- ensure that implementation and maintenance of standards of food beverage and service quality are commensurate with a first-class operation
- implement effective cost controls for food beverage and labor
- utilize systems for inventory receiving and product utilization product cost
- lead by following the standards of productivity for food and beverage personnel
- create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal employees
- assist with hiring and training programs for food and beverage personnel
- assist in other Food and Beverage outlets in whatever capacity needed
