Job Description
Kessler Hospitality is a distinguished collection of artistically inspired boutique hotels renowned for their unique design, luxurious accommodations, enriching ambiance, and intuitive service. The company proudly operates a portfolio of properties across various vibrant locations including Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Each hotel in the Kessler Hospitality portfolio reflects a distinct blend of exquisite art, music, and cultural influences, carefully curated to create an approachable and memorable travel experience. From cutting-edge downtown icons to premier luxury lodges, entertainment destinations, and elite ski lodges, Kessler Hospitality caters to the discerning individualist traveler seeking redefined Bohemian luxury and a bold original style. As the founding member of the Marriott Autograph Collection, Kessler Hospitality has pioneered a unique approach to boutique hotel management, ensuring that every property is thoughtfully crafted to inspire guests and encourage unforgettable experiences.
One of Kessler Hospitality's standout properties is the Grand Bohemian Lodge located in the heart of Downtown Greenville, South Carolina. This AAA Four Diamond boutique lodge offers guests an intimate escape where they can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area. Perched on the falls of the iconic Reedy River, the lodge blends stunning views with earth-inspired architectural and interior details—from grand floor-to-ceiling windows to elegant chandeliers and a sophisticated wine room. Guests can enjoy beautiful balconies, a stylish outdoor bar and restaurant named Between the Trees, a curated art collection, a luxurious spa, a fitness center, and hiking trails winding through the grounds. The lodge’s manicured event lawn further enhances its appeal as a premier destination that balances natural wonders with refined luxury.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor role at the Grand Bohemian Lodge involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities centered on managing the property's food and beverage, kitchen, and back-of-house operations. This hourly position emphasizes the maintenance of a profitable department while ensuring high product quality and exceptional service. The supervisor plays a critical role in marketing innovative ideas to promote business growth, reducing employee turnover, maintaining departmental revenue and payroll budgets, and meeting productivity goals without compromising quality. This role demands leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, with duties spanning from overseeing all food and beverage personnel to ensuring compliance with local liquor laws and health regulations. The supervisor works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and other department heads to oversee inventory, loss prevention, training, menu planning, and operational problem-solving. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure, and a warm, service-oriented attitude at all times. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is integral to upholding the Kessler Hospitality standard of excellence and contributing to the lodge’s reputation as a top-tier boutique destination.
