Job Duties
- Administer the operation to achieve superior product and service quality
- Oversee restaurant operations and coordinate with Executive Chef to improve functions
- Perform daily inspections to maintain readiness and sanitation standards
- Supervise and direct service to maintain safety and handle guest complaints diplomatically
- Monitor budget, profit and loss management, and ensure adherence to financial goals
- Schedule dining room personnel according to business forecasts while maintaining budget
- Lead recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and motivate staff
- Maintain equipment, facility, and grounds using preventive maintenance
- Manage shift staffing and greet guests during shifts
- Maintain inventory of equipment, linen, and supplies
- Control Micros system for guest checks and reporting
- Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of restaurant premises
- Oversee food and beverage quality control and promotions
- Execute departmental forecasting and budgeting
- Handle inventory management and purchasing within guidelines
- Foster good employee relations and open communication across departments
- Track departmental spending and monitor payroll expenses
- Conduct weekly inventories and participate in MOD program
- Handle guest complaints and urgent staff issues
- Promote teamwork and positive guest relations
