Job Duties

  • Administer the operation to achieve superior product and service quality
  • Oversee restaurant operations and coordinate with Executive Chef to improve functions
  • Perform daily inspections to maintain readiness and sanitation standards
  • Supervise and direct service to maintain safety and handle guest complaints diplomatically
  • Monitor budget, profit and loss management, and ensure adherence to financial goals
  • Schedule dining room personnel according to business forecasts while maintaining budget
  • Lead recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and motivate staff
  • Maintain equipment, facility, and grounds using preventive maintenance
  • Manage shift staffing and greet guests during shifts
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, linen, and supplies
  • Control Micros system for guest checks and reporting
  • Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of restaurant premises
  • Oversee food and beverage quality control and promotions
  • Execute departmental forecasting and budgeting
  • Handle inventory management and purchasing within guidelines
  • Foster good employee relations and open communication across departments
  • Track departmental spending and monitor payroll expenses
  • Conduct weekly inventories and participate in MOD program
  • Handle guest complaints and urgent staff issues
  • Promote teamwork and positive guest relations
