The Food and Beverage Supervisor role at Silver Reef Casino Resort is a key position responsible for managing all food and beverage operations during assigned shifts. The supervisor assists the Department Manager with hiring, scheduling, employee reviews, seating arrangements, and enforcing procedures and policies within the food and beverage areas. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of two years’ experience in the food and beverage industry, including at least one year in a supervisory or lead role. Educational qualifications such as a High School diploma or credited courses in business or hospitality are favorable, although significant experience may be considered in place of formal education. A strong understanding of point-of-sale systems, computer skills, and superior communication abilities are crucial for successful performance in this role.
The supervisor will actively participate in training subordinates, delegating duties, and preparing daily operational reports. They will ensure food quality and quantity are maintained to meet Silver Reef’s standards and will monitor food temperatures and times on precooked items to guarantee food safety. - Ensures compliance with all regulations regarding health and safety for employees and customers
