Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume, upscale dining environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards such as ServSafe certification preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred
- Multilingual abilities to assist diverse guest populations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences preferred
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, providing menus and explaining daily specials or promotions
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery to guests
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions and make recommendations
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally
- Prepare tables for service, including setting up linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments, and ensure cleanliness throughout the shift
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions with integrity
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and support a positive work environment
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff
