The Food and Beverage Server PM role at Grand Beach Surfside is an integral part of the resort’s dining team, specifically geared towards enhancing the guest experience during the evening hours. This position involves delivering outstanding food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that patrons receive prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable attention from the moment they are greeted until the conclusion of their dining experience. As a server, you will work closely with kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate orders and maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Your role requires a strong dedication to hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs proactively. The position demands excellent communication skills, time management, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality preferred
Ability to work flexible evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality preferred
Experience working in a high-volume, upscale dining environment preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards such as ServSafe certification preferred
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred
Multilingual abilities to assist diverse guest populations preferred
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences preferred

Job Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, providing menus and explaining daily specials or promotions
Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery to guests
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions and make recommendations
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally
Prepare tables for service, including setting up linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments, and ensure cleanliness throughout the shift
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions with integrity
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and support a positive work environment
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff
