The role of Food and Beverage Manager at the Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel is a critical leadership position focused on overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel, including the restaurant, bar, room service, and club lounge. This position demands a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising front-of-house staff such as servers, bartenders, and baristas. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supervising in food and beverage or hospitality leadership
  • Must be available for weekends, holidays, and PM shifts
  • Strong proficiency in multitasking
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Certifications in food safety and responsible alcohol service preferred
  • Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must have physical ability to perform pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity tasks
  • Proficient in hearing, writing, and typing
  • Knowledge of English language to communicate effectively
  • Other duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications
