Omni Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Barton Creek Country Club to offer an exciting career opportunity for a Food & Beverage (F&B) Outlet Manager. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences while enjoying the structure and benefits of working within a reputable hotel company. Omni Hotels & Resorts, recognized for its outstanding hospitality, contributes its expertise to enhance the club's operations. The club itself has been recently celebrated among the best resorts in Texas, ranking in the Top 10 Resorts in the Southwest according to Conde Nast Traveler and among the Top 5 Resorts in Texas by Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2024.
The F&B Outlet Manager will oversee the operations of several key outlets within Barton Creek Country Club including the F&B Ladies Lounge, the 19th Hole Bar and Lounge, and the Member Pool operations. This leadership role includes managing club event operations and ensuring that every aspect of food and beverage service meets the club’s high standards. The manager will work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and will be integral in creating a welcoming and personalized experience for club members and guests. Responsibilities encompass engaging directly with members to develop strong relationships, anticipating and resolving service issues, and supporting the smooth execution of tournaments, special events, and peak service periods.
Operational oversight duties include managing daily F&B activities in the men’s and women’s locker rooms and the member cabana pool, ensuring consistent quality in food, beverage, and service, partnering with the Executive Chef on menu and service coordination, managing inventory, ordering and cost controls to meet budget targets, and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards such as ServSafe and TABC. The role also involves event logistics, from staffing and scheduling to ensuring event specifications (BEO) are met and working to increase revenue and member satisfaction during golf tournaments and private catering events.
In addition, the F&B Outlet Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Women’s Lounge and the 19th Hole Bar and Lounge, including managing staff, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring beverage compliance, monitoring revenues, and elevating the guest experience through innovative food and beverage activations. Attention to detail in purchasing, inventory audits, and requisition processes is essential.
Ideal candidates bring at least 3-5 years of progressive management experience within food & beverage, hospitality, or private club operations, preferably with multi-outlet oversight. They possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with expert knowledge of food and beverage service standards, sanitation requirements, and alcohol compliance. Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, financial reporting, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays is required.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, lift, and move objects of moderate weight during shifts, and a working golf knowledge is preferred. The role demands maintaining high service standards and the ability to operate a golf cart, often under varying weather conditions. Barton Creek Country Club and Omni Hotels & Resorts are equal opportunity employers, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
