This exciting opportunity is for the role of Restaurant Manager at Blue Aster, Conrad Nashville’s acclaimed dining venue. The Blue Aster Restaurant Manager is a pivotal leadership position responsible for directing front-of-house operations while supporting back-of-house activities to ensure seamless service and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this individual plays a crucial role in achieving financial, quality, and service objectives for the restaurant. The role requires a motivated and hospitality-driven professional with a passion for fine dining and guest service excellence. Key responsibilities include managing guest relations, overseeing staff training and development, optimizing beverage programming, and managing private events alongside contributing to revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) objectives. The Restaurant Manager will also have hands-on involvement in operational details such as inventory management, policy development, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, prolonged periods of standing and walking, and mobility within various areas of the property. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds, unassisted

  • Health, Safety & Hygiene knowledge and compliance

Job Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of food and beverage management experience

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the successful achievement of all financial, quality, and service goals alongside the Director/Assistant Director of F&B
  • Monitor and ensure The Restaurant's high service standards, prioritizing guest and employee satisfaction
  • Interact directly with guests to provide welcoming, friendly service and to proactively solicit/receive feedback and respond accordingly
  • Help plan and directly execute staffing, training, and supervision for all department team members
  • Work with the culinary team to ensure the highest quality of food product and service
  • Possess a working knowledge of all restaurant and company policies and SOPs
  • Help develop new policies and procedures within the framework of the restaurant's existing SOPs and ensure compliance with both
  • Assist in identifying and developing promotional marketing and revenue-generating opportunities
