The Food and Beverage Manager role at The Padre Hotel is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operations of all food and beverage outlets within the property. This role is integral to ensuring operational excellence, sustaining high service standards, and driving business growth across the hotel’s diverse culinary venues. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director, the Food and Beverage Manager collaborates closely with Food and Beverage Supervisors, Back of House Management, and other hotel departments to maintain seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Minimum two years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must meet minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages in California
- Food Handlers Card
- Knowledge of food safety and proper handling
- Basic math skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required

Job Duties
- Monitor the financial obligations of each food and beverage area to ensure service standards and product quality
- Ensure effective communication between event spaces and restaurants
- Hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, and counsel all hourly food and beverage team members
- Support and provide operational coverage for bar and floor managers as needed
- Ensure compliance with all legal and hospitality policies and regulations
- Assist in resolving procedural and hospitality challenges
- Maintain ongoing service and product training
- Oversee general maintenance and cleanliness of dining venues
- Implement controls on food, beverage, and labor costs while maintaining budget
- Develop initiatives to increase sales, profitability, and guest counts
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries and comments
- Audit customer checks and departmental files for accuracy
- Manage staff scheduling and coordinate special events
- Develop financial operating plans and coordinate with Sales and Catering
