Job Description
Silver Reef Casino Resort is a premier entertainment destination offering a unique blend of gaming excitement, hospitality, and dining experiences. Located in a vibrant area, the casino combines the thrill of gaming with exceptional customer service and a wide variety of amenities. As a well-established resort and casino, Silver Reef operates with a commitment to quality, guest satisfaction, and community engagement. Known for its dynamic and fast-paced environment, it aims to provide guests with memorable experiences through its attentive staff and well-maintained facilities. Silver Reef Casino Resort prides itself on maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and service excellence to ensure each visit is enjoyable and entertaining for all guests. Silver Reef Casino Resort is currently hiring for a Host position, which is an integral role within the guest services team. This position requires a friendly, professional, and highly organized individual who will be responsible for greeting guests, handling cash transactions, managing the waitlist, and issuing pagers to ensure a seamless dining and entertainment experience for visitors. The Host acts as the first point of contact for guests arriving at the establishment, setting the tone for their entire visit. This role demands excellent communication skills, hospitality acumen, and the ability to multitask in a high-energy environment. In addition to welcoming guests, the Host will be tasked with managing reservations and telephone inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to potential and returning patrons. Cash handling responsibilities require strict adherence to the casino's policies, including money counting, transport protocols, and collaboration with the cash cage team to maintain financial accuracy and integrity. The Host will also contribute to maintaining cleanliness and guest areas, assisting with table clearance and setup as needed. Responding promptly and professionally to any guest concerns and escalating issues to supervisors is essential to uphold Silver Reef's customer service standards. This position requires successful completion of a 90-day probationary and training period. Applicants must be prepared to stand for extended periods and have the physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Working at Silver Reef involves functioning effectively in a fast-paced, often noisy environment and being a cooperative team member responsible for contributing to a smooth operation and positive guest experience. Candidates must obtain a Class II Gaming License and acquire a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire to comply with regulatory requirements. Overall, this Host role at Silver Reef Casino Resort offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality team, providing excellent service to a diverse clientele while working in a dynamic casino resort setting. The role offers valuable experience in customer service, cash handling, and hospitality operations in a unique and engaging environment.
