Job Description

Port Madison Enterprises operates the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort, a notable destination in the hospitality and gaming industry. The resort offers a diverse range of amenities including world-class gaming, dining, and entertainment options, creating a vibrant environment for both guests and employees. As a significant player in the hospitality sector, Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences by combining traditional and innovative services. The company promotes a culture of excellence, emphasizing teamwork, employee development, and guest satisfaction in all its operations.

The Food and Beverage (F&B) department of the resort plays a crucial role in enriching the guest experience. Within this department, the role of Deli Supervisor is essential for maintaining the high standards expected by our patrons. This position is responsible for assisting in the supervision of deli employees, focusing on operational efficiency and superior customer service. The Deli Supervisor's duties include assisting in scheduling, hiring, training, disciplining, and evaluating staff to ensure a smooth workflow and consistent quality.

The role requires hands-on involvement in the day-to-day running of the deli, including managing cash transactions, serving guests, and supporting special event preparations. Working closely under the Food and Beverage Director and Deli Manager, the supervisor must operate within the designated budget and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, the supervisor promotes good guest relations by addressing service issues and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Given the dynamic nature of the casino’s food services, the Deli Supervisor must be adaptable and ready to fill in for absent employees, whether on the cash register or in the kitchen. Coordination with the Marketing department for restaurant promotions and special events is another key aspect, as is collaborating with security to ensure safety during these events. This leadership position demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent math abilities for cash handling, and a firm grasp of food and beverage procedures.

The working environment includes an office setting with the use of computers and other equipment. Shift work is required to cover both day and night operations, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves some physical demands, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods. Manual dexterity is necessary for operating office equipment and handling paperwork efficiently.

By joining the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort as a Deli Supervisor, candidates will engage in a vibrant, fast-paced hospitality setting that values leadership, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. This position offers an opportunity to develop supervisory skills within a respected enterprise that supports career growth and values employee contributions.
