The Beverage Manager role at Silver Reef Casino is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage service operations. The manager directly supports the Food and Beverage Director and plays a key role in managing beverage service staff, equipment, and inventory. The position demands a proactive, visible leader who exemplifies punctuality, professionalism, and team spirit. This role requires regular guest interaction to maintain outstanding service standards and to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. Responsibilities include providing input to casino management on beverage service policies, training and supervising bar personnel, managing employee scheduling, ensuring all employees have up-to-date permits, and maintaining compliance with alcohol awareness and safety regulations. The Beverage Manager also handles inventory control systems, monitors beverage costs, and safeguards the quality of products and service. This position demands a thorough working knowledge of point of sale systems, draft systems, drink recipes, and cleaning procedures. Candidates must have at least two years of management experience, possess excellent people skills, be fluent in English, and be at least 21 years old. Additionally, candidates must hold or be eligible for a Class III Gaming License, WSLCB MAST Permit, and Food Handler's Permit. The job requires physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift and move moderate weights. Working conditions may include exposure to food odors and smoke-filled environments.   • must be capable of training new employees in all food and beverage, guest service and bar procedures
  • must be capable of giving direction and holding teams accountable
  • must have working knowledge of front of the house equipment including point of sale systems and peripherals
  • must have extensive knowledge of bar procedures, drink menu creation, drink recipes, draft systems, and cleaning procedures
  • must read, write, speak and understand English
  • must have excellent people skills
  • must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

  • Provides input to casino management regarding overall policy and procedure related to the supervision of beverage personnel and operations
  • responsible for training, supervising, and evaluating all bar personnel
  • ensuring all employee’s permits are up to date
  • responsible for employee scheduling and daily work assignments
  • responsible for meeting the budgeted cost of sales for the operation
  • ensures quality of products purchased, produced, and served to customers
  • enforces regulations regarding alcohol awareness and safety issues for employees and customers
  • promotes excellent customer and employee relations
  • implements and maintains all inventory control systems
  • produces monthly inventory and beverage cost reports
  • monitors and maintains glassware and alcohol inventories
  • assists in the successful operation of beverage facilities by providing high-quality products and efficient, friendly service in a clean, attractive atmosphere
  • performs other duties as assigned
