Job Description
Located in the picturesque Sonoran Desert surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, Tucson, Arizona offers more than 350 days of sunshine annually, making it an ideal destination for health professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle. Tucson is renowned for its outdoor recreational activities, including hiking, cycling, and world-class golf, attracting residents and visitors who appreciate an active lifestyle in a warm climate. The city combines the charm of a desert oasis with modern amenities, cultural experiences, and a low cost of living, enriching the quality of life for healthcare providers and their families. This setting not only provides health professionals a fulfilling life outside of work but also fosters a community-oriented approach to patient care within the medical field.
Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare provider to fill a Concierge Primary Care Physician position in this beautiful locale. This independently contracted role is designed for physicians who desire a more personalized approach to patient care, focusing on building meaningful relationships with a limited number of patients. With a maximum of 10 patients per day, this position ensures a low patient volume that allows for longer, more comprehensive visits and superior care delivery. It is an excellent opportunity for a primary care physician looking to specialize in concierge medicine and enjoy the benefits of a flexible work schedule, reduced call responsibilities, and a significant potential earning of up to $300,000 per year.
This role involves managing complex disease states commonly seen in the patient population, including post-stroke recovery and chronic heart conditions, allowing the physician to engage deeply with patient health journeys and outcome improvements. The structure of the position encourages proactive, patient-centered care with an emphasis on quality over quantity, giving physicians the chance to focus on preventive care and chronic disease management in a way that fosters patient trust and long-term health. The low call demands provide a balanced professional life, minimizing burnout and promoting sustained clinical excellence.
Joining this concierge medicine practice in Tucson means being part of a cutting-edge healthcare delivery model that prioritizes patient health and wellness while offering the physician a supportive environment where career growth and personal well-being are equally valued. This independent contractor role offers flexibility and autonomy to tailor care approaches to individual patient needs while enjoying some of the most scenic and serene environments in the United States. The position is ideal for healthcare professionals who prefer a slower pace of practice with the ability to make a significant impact on patient lives and experience the vibrant culture and outdoor lifestyle Tucson has to offer.
