The role of Club House Restaurant Manager is a highly responsible management position reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director. This role encompasses full managerial responsibility for the operations of the Restaurant and Beverage departments, ensuring alignment with the hotel's standards and policies. The successful candidate will oversee all facets of staff management, customer relations, brand and operational compliance, food and beverage service standards, and financial responsibilities including revenue generation and control of costs.

In this hands-on leadership role, the manager will be pivotal in recruiting, training, developing, and retaining frontline and supervisory staff who deliver exceptional service to guests. Maintaining optimal staffing levels in all outlets to ensure a superior guest experience is key, with specific targets such as limiting server section sizes to no more than six tables and ensuring adequate bartending coverage in the Members’ Lounge. Daily operational meetings and clear, motivating communication to staff are fundamental practices to maintain high morale and performance standards.

Further duties include developing and conducting staff training programs, ensuring completion of required certifications and tests, and supporting ongoing professional development in accordance with hotel, HR, and Executive Chef guidelines. The Club House Restaurant Manager also drives adherence to brand standards and compliance with health, alcohol, and audit requirements. Close collaboration with the Executive Chef guarantees food offerings meet high-quality expectations, and monthly promotional activities are effectively managed.

Managing customer relations is another critical component of the role, including floor management, responding to guest inquiries, and building strong relationships with Golf Club members. This role enhances guest engagement through the development and use of a sophisticated guest database system to track preferences and improve personalized service.

Financial accountability is required, with oversight of daily and weekly payroll, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability. The manager will actively participate in strategic meetings, communicate issues and reports to senior management, and implement action plans for improving standards and outlet performance. Public relations, marketing, and brand management responsibilities are also part of this multifaceted role.

The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel environment and possess excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills. Certifications in health and alcohol service are essential.
