Job Description
Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis Saint Paul Airport is a vibrant hotel that serves a diverse clientele including business travelers and leisure guests. Conveniently located just minutes from major attractions such as the Mall of America, Downtown St. Paul, Target Field, Xcel Energy Center - home of the Minnesota Wild, US Bank Stadium, and the Minnesota Vikings training camp in Eagan MN, this hotel provides a perfect blend of comfort and accessibility. Known for its warm hospitality, modern amenities, and commitment to guest satisfaction, the hotel aims to offer an inviting and memorable stay experience. The property caters to a wide range of guest needs while maintaining high standards in customer service and operational efficiency.
We are currently seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the hotel, acting as the frontline representative who sets the tone for guest experiences right upon arrival. The Front Desk Supervisor will lead the front desk team with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued from check-in to check-out. The position requires open and flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and all shifts to support continuous service.
The ideal candidate has prior hotel front desk experience and enjoys guiding a team while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations and VIP requests, overseeing operational details such as message and package management, and maintaining accurate logs. Additionally, the Supervisor will participate in revenue management by monitoring room rates, packages, and promotions to optimize profitability while maintaining excellent value for guests.
As a leader, you will train new associates, resolve guest concerns creatively, and foster a communicative and cooperative team environment. Safety and compliance with hospitality standards are a top priority. This role also requires a valid driver’s license and may require certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
In return for your dedication and leadership, the hotel offers a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period for those hired full time. Benefits include daily pay options, medical, dental, vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. This opportunity provides not only a rewarding career path in hospitality management but also competitive compensation and benefits designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
