Job Requirements

Minimum one year experience in a similar position
Prior loan experience
Proven ability to meet service and performance goals
Knowledge of Federal, State, and NCUA regulations including BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D, and Regulation E
Comprehensive knowledge of deposit account products and services
Working knowledge of loan products and loan decisioning systems
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to work under pressure and manage frequent interruptions
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information
Genuine interest in member service and problem resolution
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Completion of compliance related training and coursework
NMLS registration
Notary preferred
Capability to collaborate effectively with team members and members

Job Qualifications

Working knowledge of loan products and associated systems such as Loans PQ

Ability to work under pressure and with frequent interruptions
Proficient in PC operations and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving, member service, and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Successful completion of all compliance related coursework
NMLS registered

Job Duties

Consults with members
Identifies needs, offers solutions, and follows up on any pending transactions
Holds conversations that matter with members either in person or over the phone
Calls on various call reports to garner more business throughout the workday and during scheduled call nights throughout the month
Performs various job duties including escorting members to appropriate destinations for resolution, receiving and disbursing funds, opening new accounts/sub-shares, and originating loans
Inputs, processes and funds consumer loan types such as Closed-end Signature and VISA as needed
Performs a wide variety of account maintenance including issuing/re-pinning ATM/Debit Cards, changes of address, name changes, adding/updating account setup, adding/updating joint owners, adding/updating beneficiaries, closing accounts, processing deceased accounts, notary services and issuing cashier's checks
Recommends and refers appropriate products and services including Mortgage, Investment Services, and Autoland
Ensures the branch is in balance including the TCR
Identifies and reports any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity
Completes all required training and compliance modules
Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities and Credit Union events such as Car Sales, Open House, and Open Enrollments
Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner
Maintains member and other sensitive information with confidentiality
Treats all team members and members with respect
Other related duties as assigned
