Job Requirements
- Minimum one year experience in a similar position
- Prior loan experience
- Proven ability to meet service and performance goals
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and NCUA regulations including BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D, and Regulation E
- Comprehensive knowledge of deposit account products and services
- Working knowledge of loan products and loan decisioning systems
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and manage frequent interruptions
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information
- Genuine interest in member service and problem resolution
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Completion of compliance related training and coursework
- NMLS registration
- Notary preferred
- Capability to collaborate effectively with team members and members
Job Qualifications

- Ability to work under pressure and with frequent interruptions
- Proficient in PC operations and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, member service, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Successful completion of all compliance related coursework
- NMLS registered
Job Duties
- Consults with members
- Identifies needs, offers solutions, and follows up on any pending transactions
- Holds conversations that matter with members either in person or over the phone
- Calls on various call reports to garner more business throughout the workday and during scheduled call nights throughout the month
- Performs various job duties including escorting members to appropriate destinations for resolution, receiving and disbursing funds, opening new accounts/sub-shares, and originating loans
- Inputs, processes and funds consumer loan types such as Closed-end Signature and VISA as needed
- Performs a wide variety of account maintenance including issuing/re-pinning ATM/Debit Cards, changes of address, name changes, adding/updating account setup, adding/updating joint owners, adding/updating beneficiaries, closing accounts, processing deceased accounts, notary services and issuing cashier's checks
- Recommends and refers appropriate products and services including Mortgage, Investment Services, and Autoland
- Ensures the branch is in balance including the TCR
- Identifies and reports any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity
- Completes all required training and compliance modules
- Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities and Credit Union events such as Car Sales, Open House, and Open Enrollments
- Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains member and other sensitive information with confidentiality
- Treats all team members and members with respect
- Other related duties as assigned
