Job Description
The Sales Consultant and Event Coordinator role within Scholastic focuses specifically on expanding and growing the Book Fair programs. This full-time, hourly, remote role combines sales expertise with event management, requiring individuals to manage a defined territory and portfolio of accounts with accountability for fair counts, revenue, and revenue per fair (RPF). The job entails coaching school hosts to maximize fair performance through strategic sales and engagement tactics, leading high-impact events that deliver both educational value and strong financial outcomes. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, a substantial discount on Scholastic merchandise, 401k with company match, and potentially summers off. Compensation includes a base hourly wage ranging from $22 to $26 per hour, supplemented by a sales incentive program. This role is ideal for those passionate about sales, education, and literacy, seeking meaningful work within a supportive and mission-focused organization. The next onboarding date is August 31, 2026.
