Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • must complete restaurant manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification required
  • minimum of 1+ years experience as associate manager and/or 2 years as first assistant manager for internal promote
  • minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • must be 100 percent certified in all workstations
  • valid drivers license and insurance required
  • ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
  • ability to perform basic math concepts
  • proficiency in personal computers and software applications
  • ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • ability to stand and walk 85-95 percent of shift
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
  • monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • ensures systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to by management and crew
  • identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
  • manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • provides an exceptional experience for guests by ensuring proper training and holding restaurant team accountable for excellent guest service and food quality
  • reviews practices and modifies as needed to continuously improve the guest experience
  • responds to guest concerns and complaints timely and professionally
  • maintains cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service to uphold brand image
  • analyzes operational and financial performance data and implements improvement plans
  • focuses on increasing restaurant sales and profitability through effective execution of the Service Profit Chain
  • monitors costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
  • complies with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • maintains safety and food quality standards
  • exercises discretion and independent judgment on important restaurant business matters
  • delegates work and conducts systematic follow-up
  • performs other related duties as assigned
