As a facility housekeeper at U-Haul, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility to ensure it remains inviting and welcoming to customers. Key duties include sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping areas such as storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other common spaces. Proper disposal of trash and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies are crucial to ensure operational efficiency. This job requires a self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills. There is an emphasis on safety, especially when working around machines or handling cleaning chemicals, requiring the use of appropriate protective gear when necessary.
