The role of Facility Cleaner at Fresh Baguette is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and safety required within both the retail and production environments. The Facility Cleaner is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure that all mandatory safety and sanitation requirements are met throughout the company’s buildings and grounds. This role is critical for preserving the pristine conditions that support the production of premium bakery items and customer satisfaction. Facility Cleaners will be expected to handle duties such as dishwashing, laundering uniforms, general cleaning within the facilities—including trash removal, debris cleanup, restroom sanitation, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Additionally, the role involves setting up production stations, performing basic equipment repairs, and routine maintenance tasks like wiping down and dusting dock doors and various equipment. A significant part of the job is completing regular check-ins to verify that critical areas such as restrooms remain sanitary at all times.

This position offers a competitive wage starting at $17.65 per hour, with a higher pay rate of $18.00 per hour for night shifts. The role requires open availability to work any day of the week during shifts between 9 AM to 5 PM or 4 PM to 12 AM, including weekdays and weekends.

Fresh Baguette seeks individuals who are fast learners, team players with positive attitudes, punctual, attentive to detail, and capable of performing repetitive tasks over extended periods. Candidates should be comfortable working in environments that may be hot, cold, or humid, and able to lift over 75 pounds while standing for long shifts. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial duties, or food production environments emphasizing sanitation and safety is preferred but not mandatory.
