PopStroke is currently hiring for the role of Facilities Porter, a critical position within their venues. This role is non-exempt and offers a competitive pay rate between $18 and $22 per hour. The Facilities Porter will be the behind-the-scenes hero responsible for ensuring the venue remains safe, spotless, and welcoming for guests and staff alike. This position demands a proactive and hands-on individual who can keep all areas of the venue in pristine condition. This includes responsibilities such as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, dining areas, golf courses, and kitchen spaces, as well as maintaining landscaping and general facility appearance.

Integral to the role is performing regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards, ensuring a safe environment for guests and employees. The Facilities Porter also manages waste disposal, including operating trash compactors safely and maintaining the surrounding area. Working in both indoor and outdoor environments, the porter plays a vital role in storm preparedness and recovery tasks, demonstrating flexibility and readiness for various circumstances.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a facilities or janitorial role and possess strong attention to detail regarding cleanliness and safety. They should be comfortable handling cleaning chemicals safely and be able to work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary, along with availability to work weekends and holidays, reflecting the venue's operating hours.

This position also involves physical duties such as standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
