Job Description
PopStroke is a dynamic and founder-led entertainment brand dedicated to creating memorable and fun experiences for families, friends, and communities. Known for combining golf, food, and fun, PopStroke operates distinctive venues designed to offer guests an enjoyable recreational environment. The company embraces a culture fueled by energy, ownership, and teamwork, which they refer to as "The PopStroke Way." This approach is not just about running venues; it is about building a unique culture where employees feel empowered, valued, and motivated to contribute to shared success. With a commitment to positivity, creativity, and problem-solving, PopStroke fosters a supportive atmosphere that encourages bold ideas, continuous growth, and collaborative spirit among its team members.
At PopStroke, every employee is seen as having limitless potential, and the company invests in empowering its people to become who they want to be. This is achieved through fostering an environment where enthusiasm, accountability, and mutual respect take center stage. Whether you’re a team member or a leader, PopStroke believes that your vibe sets the tone, so positivity and energy are core to the daily experience at their venues.
The role of Facilities Porter at PopStroke is essential to maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall presentation of the venue, ensuring guests have a welcoming environment to enjoy. Facilities Porters act as the heroes behind the scenes—they are responsible for conducting inspections, cleaning various areas including restrooms, dining areas, golf courses and kitchens, managing waste disposal, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Their work spans both indoor and outdoor environments and requires a hands-on, proactive attitude aligned with PopStroke's value of “Roll Up Your Sleeves.”
This position is non-exempt, offering an hourly pay range of $16 to $20, reflective of experience and dedication. Facilities Porters at PopStroke play a vital role in upholding the company’s standards for cleanliness and safety, while contributing to an atmosphere where fun is prioritized and creativity is encouraged. The role also involves assisting with storm preparedness, recovery efforts, and other special projects, supporting the venue’s operations beyond routine maintenance.
Working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, Facilities Porters must be ready to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and communicate well with supervisors and colleagues. Physical stamina is important since the job requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and safely handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Availability during weekends and holidays is also necessary, as these are peak times for PopStroke venues.
Joining PopStroke means becoming part of a culture where you own your role, bring your energy, and help make every day better for guests and fellow employees alike. If you are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and want to contribute to an organization that values fun and growth, this Facilities Porter position offers a rewarding opportunity within a company committed to its people and its mission.
