Job Description

TBCC is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Building Operations Associate to join their dynamic team. This role is essential to maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of the club's building operations while delivering top-notch member service. The position offers a compensation rate of $25.00 - $28.00 per hour and requires a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts to support club operations.

The Building Operations Associate is responsible for overseeing preventive maintenance tasks such as pool vacuuming, water chemical testing and adjustment, plumbing, minor electrical repairs, and painting to ensure the club environment remains pristine and fully functional. The role involves restocking supplies, replenishing inventories, and maintaining a secure and clean workspace. One of the hallmarks of this position is a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service and hospitality. The associate will greet members and guests warmly throughout the property and attentively listen to their needs and requests, following through promptly and professionally.

Central to the position is active participation in club events, meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development programs that advance the individual’s skill set and align with the company’s culture. The role demands physical capability including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that may involve sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are also critical as the associate interacts regularly with members, guests, and colleagues. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of building operations experience
  • Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, anticipate the needs of others and willing to acquire new skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • High cleanliness standards
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work varied schedules including weekends, holidays, days and evenings

Job Duties

  • Learn and apply the company's standard operating procedures
  • Preventive maintenance responsibility of the building such as pool vacuuming and testing / adjusting pool water chemicals, plumbing, light electrical and painting
  • Restock supplies, replenish inventory and products
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Greet members and guests throughout the property
  • Understand and anticipate the needs of the property
  • Be attentive and listen carefully to the member's and follow through
  • Follow up as required and communicate in a timely manner
  • Be an active participant in events, programs, meetings and training
  • Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
  • Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings
