Job Description

In-N-Out Burger is a well-established, privately owned restaurant chain founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California. Over the decades, the company has expanded steadily and now operates locations across multiple states including California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, and Tennessee. The company is renowned for its commitment to maintaining a simple yet effective philosophy: to serve only the highest quality products prepared fresh and made to order in clean environments with a focus on warm and friendly customer service. This dedication to quality and service has earned In-N-Out Burger a stellar reputation as a beloved fast-food brand with a loyal customer base.

This particular opportunity is for a full-time Facilities Porter role based in the Franklin, Tennessee corporate office campus. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and operational readiness of a Class A office environment comprising multiple buildings and support structures. The Facilities Porter position is essential to preserving the welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects In-N-Out Burger's corporate values. The role is strictly in-office and requires a commitment to maintaining high presentation and safety standards consistently.

The Facilities Porter will be responsible for a wide range of duties including maintaining public and shared spaces such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, break rooms, and conference rooms, ensuring these areas remain clean, orderly, and ready for employees and visitors. This includes performing continuous rounds for cleanup, replenishing supplies, setting up and breaking down events, supporting workspace reconfigurations, and providing attentive service in executive and sensitive areas. The role also involves exterior grounds and amenities upkeep, such as monitoring patios, courtyards, parking lots, and the gym/fitness center to ensure these environments remain pleasant and functional.

In-N-Out Burger offers a fully benefits-inclusive package for this full-time, non-exempt, hourly role with office hours from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Candidates must be flexible for occasional extended hours to support special programs and events. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, adoption assistance, education reimbursement, supplemental health plans, and pet insurance. This comprehensive approach demonstrates the company’s investment in the well-being and growth of its team members.

Working at In-N-Out Burger means being part of a family-oriented company culture focused on mutual respect, teamwork, and excellence. The Facilities Porter is a key member of maintaining the professional image of the company's corporate campus and supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the office environment. This role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and sustained walking. The company values discretion, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, especially when serving executive leadership and sensitive areas.

Overall, this role presents an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience in facilities support or custodial roles within a commercial or corporate campus environment.
