As a Facilities Operations Manager Mechanical, you will play a critical role in managing the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the mechanical systems that support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centers. Reporting directly to the Site Operations Director, this position is responsible for owning all mechanical plant operations, maintenance execution, vendor performance, operational readiness, and the leadership of technical teams focused on cooling and HVAC infrastructure. Key systems under your oversight will include chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, CDUs, fan walls, and associated control systems. The primary objective is to ensure continuous uptime and consistent safe work execution aligned with Oracle's stringent standards.
This role demands a hands-on approach to day-to-day mechanical plant operations and service execution. The Facilities Operations Manager Mechanical will lead efforts to protect critical data center capacities by driving operational excellence and maintaining the highest levels of mechanical system performance. You will collaborate closely with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance is executed to optimize reliability. Vendor management is a significant aspect of the role, ensuring performance standards are met and that operations adhere to safety policies.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical plant operations or facilities management
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Strong understanding of HVAC, chillers, pumps, and cooling tower systems
- Proficient in maintenance execution and vendor coordination
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing mechanical systems in data centers or industrial environments
