Carteret Management is currently seeking a Facilities Cleaning & Maintenance Assistant for Fairlawn Village. The Facilities Cleaning & Maintenance Assistant position primarily focuses on custodial duties, grounds keeping, and light maintenance responsibilities to ensure the apartment community remains pristine and inviting. As a key team member, the assistant will work diligently to maintain the cleanliness of both the indoor common areas and outdoor grounds. This involves clearing debris, cleaning office and community spaces, and assisting in preparing market-ready apartments for new residents. In addition to custodial tasks, the role requires performing light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and addressing minor plumbing clogs.

Excellent customer service is a cornerstone of this role, as the Facilities Cleaning & Maintenance Assistant interacts regularly with residents, on-site staff, and vendors. Job Duties

  • Work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times

  • perform other general janitorial and basic maintenance duties as assigned
