Job Description

The hiring establishment is a dynamic event venue dedicated to creating memorable moments through impeccable facility management and security services. Specializing in hosting a wide variety of events ranging from intimate weddings to large corporate functions, the venue prides itself on maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests, clients, vendors, and staff. This company operates with a commitment to excellence across every aspect of the property, including the parking ramp, common areas, event spaces, and the exterior grounds. The venue’s operational readiness and guest satisfaction are paramount, making it an attractive workplace for individuals passionate about hospitality, safety, and property maintenance.

The Facilities & Security Attendant role is an essential position within this event venue, designed for individuals who excel in multitasking between security monitoring and hands-on facility support. This position plays a vital part in ensuring both the safety and smooth operations of the property during day-to-day activities as well as special events. The role demands a visible onsite presence, emphasizing proactive security patrols, guest assistance upon arrival, and support with venue setup and teardown. This flexibility in duties helps maintain the venue’s high standards and ensures that every event runs seamlessly from beginning to end.

The position offers flexible scheduling options with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. Core shifts occur between 8AM and 8PM, with some requirements for early evening, weekend, holiday, and special event availability. Working closely with the General Manager and Director of Operations, the Facilities & Security Attendant contributes to the venue’s overall safety protocols and customer service excellence. This role is instrumental in fostering a safe environment where guests feel welcomed and valued, and where clients could trust their event venue to be operationally ready and well-maintained.

Specific responsibilities include conducting regular property walkthroughs every hour to monitor parking areas, building perimeters, entrances and exits, restrooms, and common spaces. The attendant is responsible for identifying and reporting any safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or unauthorized access while maintaining detailed documentation of incidents and observations. In addition to security duties, the role involves guest support such as welcoming vendors and clients, managing traffic flow in parking areas, offering directions, and ensuring an efficient and safe guest arrival experience.

Between security rounds, the attendant assists with various facility operations including event setup, teardown, cleaning, routine maintenance, groundskeeping, inventory management, and furniture movement. These duties require a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting equipment and navigating outdoor terrain. The successful candidate should demonstrate professionalism and calmness even in fast-paced or dynamic environments, contributing positively to both the guest experience and the venue’s organizational goals.

Offering a competitive hourly wage of $23.00, this role comes with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with matching, health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and paid time off. This in-person position provides a fulfilling opportunity for motivated individuals aiming to advance their careers within the hospitality, event management, or security industries by developing a versatile skill set in facilities operations and guest services. If you have a passion for safety, hospitality, and supporting event excellence, this position will enable you to make a meaningful impact on each event’s success and on the overall reputation of the venue.
