Job Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks

- Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of liability auto insurance

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Seven years of experience in facilities, recreation management, gym operations, or related field required
- Experience with scheduling systems, event coordination, or program development preferred
- Experience supervising staff or volunteers preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to increase utilization and revenue
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the Dana Village gym facility
- Maintain a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for all users, including campus-wide event setup and teardown (tables, chairs, equipment)
- Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for residents and community partners
- Develop, manage, and maintain a detailed schedule for all gym activities and rentals
- Ensure facility readiness for all scheduled events, including communication plans, opening/closing procedures, and security protocols
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, athletic organizations, leagues, and coaches
- Actively market and promote gym availability to increase utilization and revenue
- Develop innovative strategies to fill gaps in usage, including daytime and off-season programming
- Organize and manage leagues, tournaments, and events across multiple activities
- Promote and oversee open gym opportunities for both residents and community members
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise gym volunteers, referees, and scorekeepers
- Track, collect, and secure all revenue associated with gym usage
- Evaluate equipment needs and maintain equipment to ensure safety and maximum usage
- Support the Campus Facility Director with daily operational needs across Dana Village
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., lighting, filters, fixtures, basic repairs)
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the life of campus equipment and facilities
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and notify leadership of restocking needs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Respond to facility-related needs and assist in maintaining a safe, functional campus environment
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and storage areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
