Rooted in service and united by a strong mission and core values, Aramark emphasizes safety, teamwork, integrity, and passion in all aspects of its operations. Aramark believes that every employee should have equal employment opportunities and fosters an inclusive work environment that respects diversity and promotes professional development. The company is renowned for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community engagement, making it a highly respected employer in its industry.
The Facilities Administrator position at Aramark plays a crucial role in managing hourly associates and assisting leadership in planning, administering, and directing all facilities-related activities. This role ensures compliance with Aramark's standards as well as client requirements, focusing on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives, and customer needs. The Facilities Administrator is responsible for delivering contracted services efficiently and effectively while upholding safety excellence and fostering a positive work environment. This full-time position emphasizes leadership by example, where the administrator acts as a visible servant leader dedicated to supporting and inspiring the team to achieve high performance and employee engagement.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective execution of departmental operations, maintaining labor and supply costs, managing capital equipment usage, and supporting the implementation and compliance of safety plans and regulatory standards. The Facilities Administrator also plays a pivotal role in staffing, training, and developing hourly associates to maintain optimal staffing levels and ensure high-quality service delivery. Proficiency with tools such as WebTMA and ISIS Pro modules is essential for managing operations, scheduling, and maintaining compliance. Additional duties involve conducting operational audits, fostering teamwork, and maintaining strong internal and external communications.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in plant and operations maintenance management, along with at least 2 years of experience mentoring hourly associates. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with a preference for candidates holding Facilities Management Certification like Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM). The role demands a working knowledge of boilers, chillers, generators, and HVAC/R systems, along with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and time management skills. Previous profit and loss management experience is a plus. Aramark values individuals who demonstrate high energy, integrity, business maturity, and the ability to drive a positive, client-focused work environment.
Working at Aramark offers the opportunity to grow professionally in a diverse and dynamic environment where innovation and commitment to excellence are celebrated. This role requires flexibility as job duties may evolve to meet business needs, underscoring the company’s adaptive and forward-looking approach to facilities management.
