The F1 Program Manager is a pivotal role within the AWS Global Hospitality team, responsible for orchestrating the planning, execution, and optimization of AWS's Formula 1 hospitality events across North America (NAMER). This role goes beyond event management by strategically enhancing AWS’s F1 sponsorship impact through exceptional customer engagement and activities that accelerate sales pipeline, deepen executive relationships, and deliver measurable business results. The F1 Program Manager will serve as the primary custodian of the North American F1 event portfolio, overseeing all aspects from vendor coordination to budget management. They will also act as a trusted advisor to global field marketing teams, ensuring consistent brand representation and business alignment across worldwide F1 event activations.

Part of the role includes leading strategic event planning for iconic races such as the Miami Grand Prix, Las Vegas Grand Prix, and the Canadian Grand Prix. The individual will partner cross-functionally with sales, business development, and account teams to develop demand generation strategies that optimize client and prospect engagement. On-site event execution is a critical focus, requiring management of logistics, venue operations, VIP experiences, and branding to uphold AWS’s standards of excellence. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making through the definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline influence and customer satisfaction to justify investments and direct future initiatives. Budget oversight and vendor relationship management are additional essential duties entrusted to this program manager to ensure efficient spending and successful event delivery. The salary range for this position varies between $80,600 and $155,200 annually depending on location and experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau including data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables
  • Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience in brand identity and voice development
  • Experience creating brand marketing content

Job Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email web analytics and CRM such as Marketo Tableau Salesforce
  • MBA
  • Familiarity with the Formula 1 ecosystem motorsport hospitality and sports sponsorship activations

Job Duties

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of all F1 hospitality events in the NAMER region including race weekends customer experiences and ancillary activations
  • Partner with sales business development and account teams to develop and execute demand generation strategies that drive high-value customer and prospect attendance
  • Lead all on-site logistics and experience delivery including venue management hospitality operations agenda programming speaker coordination branding and VIP experiences
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each NAMER event including pipeline influence opportunity acceleration executive engagement and customer satisfaction
  • Develop post-event reporting and insights to demonstrate ROI and inform future investment decisions
  • Own the NAMER F1 event budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost optimization
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors agencies venue partners and the F1 team partnership ecosystem as it relates to NAMER activations
