The F1 Program Manager role at AWS is a pivotal position within the Global Hospitality group, primarily responsible for steering the Formula 1 hospitality events across North America. This is a unique opportunity for a results-oriented professional to take ownership of the end-to-end planning and execution of highly visible hospitality events such as the Miami Grand Prix, Las Vegas Grand Prix, and Canadian Grand Prix. The role requires strategic oversight of these events to drive business impact, deepen customer and executive relationships, and maximize return on investment (ROI) through world-class customer-facing experiences.

As the primary steward of AWS's F1 event portfolio in North America, the F1 Program Manager will collaborate extensively with field marketing teams across the globe to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with business objectives for all F1 activations. Beyond operational execution, this role involves significant strategic responsibilities including demand generation by partnering with sales and business development teams to craft invitation processes, manage guest lists, and optimize event attendance to boost pipeline and business outcomes. Moreover, this manager will oversee all on-site logistics, including venue management, hospitality operations, branding, agenda programming, and VIP coordination, ensuring every detail aligns with AWS's brand standards and delivers memorable experiences.

Financial stewardship is a key element of this position, with responsibility for managing budgets related to NAMER F1 events, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost efficiency without compromising the premium nature of the hospitality experience. Additionally, the role entails managing relationships with vendors, agencies, venue partners, and the larger F1 partnership ecosystem to maintain seamless event delivery.

Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of professional marketing experience
  • proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decision making
  • advanced skills in Excel and Tableau
  • demonstrated experience managing cross-functional marketing programs
  • strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • ability to lead high-pressure events and deliver flawless execution
  • experience with brand development and content creation
  • knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools preferred
  • familiarity with Formula 1 and motorsport hospitality preferred
  • willingness to travel extensively during event season

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • experience with Excel or Tableau including data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables
  • experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • experience building executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • experience in brand identity and voice development
  • experience creating brand marketing content
  • experience using customer research hard data and metrics to back up assumptions generate forecasts and assess the efficacy of marketing programs preferred
  • experience utilizing systems and tools involving email web analytics and CRM such as Marketo Tableau Salesforce for targeting segmentation and reporting for demand generation preferred
  • MBA preferred
  • familiarity with the Formula 1 ecosystem motorsport hospitality and sports sponsorship activations preferred

Job Duties

  • own the end-to-end planning and execution of all F1 hospitality events in the NAMER region including race weekends customer experiences and ancillary activations
  • partner with sales business development and account teams to develop and execute demand generation strategies that drive high-value customer and prospect attendance
  • define nomination criteria manage invitation workflows and ensure optimal guest list composition aligned with business priorities
  • lead all on-site logistics and experience delivery including venue management hospitality operations agenda programming speaker coordination branding and VIP experiences
  • ensure flawless execution that reflects the AWS brand standard
  • define and track key performance indicators for each NAMER event including pipeline influence opportunity acceleration executive engagement and customer satisfaction
  • develop post-event reporting and insights to demonstrate ROI and inform future investment decisions
  • own the NAMER F1 event budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost optimization while delivering premium experiences
  • manage relationships with third-party vendors agencies venue partners and the F1 team partnership ecosystem as it relates to NAMER activations
