Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Equivalent work experience accepted
  • At least 2 years of food and beverage supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverage operations and preparation, including wines
  • Proficient in inventory management and financial tracking
  • Ability to stand and move throughout shifts in restaurant and kitchen areas
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Additional language skills preferred
  • Skilled in guest and staff interaction with patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and POS systems

Job Duties

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and manage restaurant staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide ongoing training
  • Engage positively with customers, resolve issues, and organize special events like receptions
  • Monitor food quality, service standards, and cleanliness throughout the facility, taking corrective action as needed
  • Control payroll, inventory, and equipment costs while maintaining par stock levels and profitability
  • Use the POS system for accurate billing, revenue tracking, and reporting
  • Enforce hotel sanitation, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with other hotel departments and vendors
  • Oversee tip distribution, track menu updates, and ensure full floor coverage in all outlets
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors
  • Promote staff professionalism and administer sales and incentive programs
  • Evaluate employee performance, maintain records, and ensure compliance with hotel policies
  • Track emails, shift reports, payroll, and administrative tasks daily
  • Conduct monthly training, track guest satisfaction metrics, and update outlet par sheets
  • Align purchase orders with the general ledger and checkbook
  • Oversee Food & Beverage outlet operations during the PM shift
