With a sustainable future mindset, Kerry offers employees the chance to work in an innovative and dynamic environment that fosters personal and professional growth. The company specializes in creating high-quality, science-based solutions that enhance flavor, nutrition, and wellness for customers all over the world. Its Applied Health & Nutrition division particularly focuses on developing products that contribute to healthier lifestyles without compromising on taste.

Located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Kerry’s Liquid Beverage division is a hub of innovation specializing in the production of coffee extracts and flavorings designed specifically for Kerry’s products and valued customers. At the Bethlehem facility, employees are part of a collaborative team working to produce premium coffee extracts that meet exacting quality standards. The Plant operates with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, employing state-of-the-art technologies and equipment to deliver consistent results.

The role of Extraction Operator on the 2nd shift (1 pm to 9 pm) is vital to maintaining the high-quality production standards Kerry is known for. This position involves operating specialized coffee extraction systems and reverse osmosis equipment to produce coffee concentrates and flavorings. The Extraction Operator handles clean-in-place (CIP) systems to maintain the sanitary conditions of equipment and uses SAP software for accurate batch management and documentation. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be adept at following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay for this role is $23.00 per hour, plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential, reflecting Kerry’s commitment to recognizing the importance of the skills and dedication of their manufacturing staff. This role requires the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends when necessary, and involves physical work such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in variable environmental conditions that may include heat, cold, and humidity.

This position offers an excellent career opportunity to those looking to build expertise in beverage manufacturing, especially in coffee extraction technology and automated production processes. Kerry supports its employees with excellent benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plans with company matching, and employee share plans. The position is fully in-person and located at 5000 Township Line Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017. The job posting is open until December 2026.

Joining Kerry means being part of a forward-thinking company that values safety, quality, and innovation. The Extraction Operator will work closely with quality assurance, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure production is smooth, accurate, and meets customer expectations. The company also integrates modern technology such as handheld scanners and automated manufacturing systems, providing a stimulating and technologically advanced workplace.

This role is suited for candidates who have previous production or manufacturing experience, particularly in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical environments, and who take pride in their attention to detail and safety. This is a hands-on, practical role requiring problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. If you are looking to join a company that values your contribution and offers room for growth, Kerry represents an ideal opportunity.
